HarpElle LLC ("we," "our," "us") operates the VolleyTally mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.
1. Information We Collect
Data You Provide
VolleyTally does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information. Any team names, game settings, and match configurations you enter are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to our servers.
Purchase Status
VolleyTally stores purchase status locally on your device and uses RevenueCat and the app store provider to process and restore the optional Remove Ads purchase. Purchase records are used only to manage ad-removal access.
Advertising Data
Free users may see banner advertisements through Google AdMob. Users who purchase Remove Ads do not see banner ads in normal use. AdMob may collect identifiers and usage data for ad serving, measurement, and fraud prevention according to Google's privacy practices.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the limited information described above to:
- Provide the App's core scoring and match tracking functionality
- Manage optional Remove Ads purchase status
- Display advertisements to free users
3. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

4. Data Storage and Security
Match data, team names, scores, and settings are stored locally on your device. No match data is transmitted to our servers. Purchase status is stored locally and, where available, in secure device storage such as the operating system keychain. RevenueCat and the app store provider may retain purchase records needed to process and restore Remove Ads.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it. You may delete all app data at any time by:
- Clearing the app's data from your device's settings menu
- Uninstalling the App
6. Children's Privacy
VolleyTally is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The App does not require any personal information to function. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us at jason@harpelle.com and we will promptly address the concern.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Ad Personalization
You can control ad personalization through your device's privacy settings. On iOS, you can limit ad tracking in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. You may also remove banner advertisements by purchasing Remove Ads within the App.
Data Access and Portability
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have direct access to your data at all times. No request to us is necessary to access your information.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
