HarpElle ("we," "our," "us") operates the VolleyTally mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.
1. Information We Collect
Data You Provide
VolleyTally does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information. Any team names, game settings, and match configurations you enter are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to our servers.
Device Information
We generate a random unique device identifier (UUID) that is stored securely on your device using the operating system's keychain. This identifier is used solely for managing in-app purchase status. This ID is not linked to your personal identity.
Advertising Data
For free-tier users, the App displays advertisements through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data for the purpose of serving and measuring advertisements. This data collection is governed by Google's privacy practices. Premium users who have removed ads are not subject to AdMob data collection.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the limited information described above to:
- Provide the App's core scoring and match tracking functionality
- Manage in-app purchase and premium feature status
- Display relevant advertisements to free-tier users
3. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

4. Data Storage and Security
All match data, team names, scores, and settings are stored locally on your device using encrypted storage provided by your operating system. No match data is transmitted to our servers or any third party. Your in-app purchase status is stored securely in your device's keychain.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it. You may delete all app data at any time by:
- Clearing the app's data from your device's settings menu
- Uninstalling the App
6. Children's Privacy
VolleyTally is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The App does not require any personal information to function. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us at support@harpelle.com and we will promptly address the concern.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Ad Personalization
You can control ad personalization through your device's privacy settings. On iOS, you can limit ad tracking in Settings > Privacy > Tracking. You may also remove all advertisements by purchasing the premium upgrade within the App.
Data Access and Portability
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have direct access to your data at all times. No request to us is necessary to access your information.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
